Red Dirt Radio formed in 2016 during Sascha’s three year sojourn in New Zealand, where she teamed up with Aussie expat Wayne Rowlands and Wellington based percussionist Ali Osborne.

The trio created their original sound by bringing together Sascha’s unique songwriting, vocals and baritone guitar, and combining it with Wayne’s mandolin and Ali’s easy riding percussion.

Their self-titled EP was recorded at the Armoury in Wellington with Troy Kelly prior to Sascha’s relocation back to Melbourne in 2018.

Now firmly back on the ground in Australia, the lineup and sound has evolved with Sascha joined by Andrew Fuller on guitar and David Picone completing the trio on percussion creating a sound that encompasses folk, rock and alt country.
