Influenced by vocalists such as Marianne Faithfull, Lucinda Williams, Suzi Quatro and Edith Piaf, Sascha’s distinctive writing and vocal style exists somewhere between roots, folk and southern rock

Starting her musical journey in Perth, Sascha played in prominent bands Spank and One Horse Town through the 90’s into the mid 2000’s, later moving to Melbourne and forming the Voodoo Economic and trans-Tasman trio Red Dirt Radio

Now home in Perth she returns with new music and new outfit, Sascha Ion and the Elements with Liam Coffey on bass and Andrew Lippiatt on drums
